I agree 100%. The opportunity cost is staggering. There are a lot of parallels with Vietnam. We probably won't lose as badly as we did in Vietnam, but it's tragic nonetheless. Too bad that Bush didn't study the lessons of Vietnam. He never was much of a thinker.
